How it all began

As managing director of Niehoff Fruits GmbH, Anna-Lena Niehoff has been successfully procuring fruit-based raw materials for her customers to process for many years.

She became aware of the ‘passion fruit snacks’ back in 2022. During one of her regular visits to the local production facilities, a long-standing, loyal supplier from Vietnam demonstrated the option of processing dried passion fruit into a delicious snack – Pompongs.

She was instantly won over. A few months later, she was able to convince investors, partners and employees to market Pompongs, starting in Germany and Switzerland.

It took a long while for the dried passion fruit to be ready to be launched in Switzerland and on the German market in collaboration with the Swiss company Allfood AG.

Now, it’s finally time!
